Join the Teen Advisory Board to have a voice in teen activities at the Main library. You can get credit for volunteering, too. We meet at 4:00–5:00 on the first Thursday of the month in the Explorers Room. Plan to stay until 5:45 to contribute to the blog in the Internet Lab.
Teen activities planned for October: Teen Read Week, Camp Fire USA tutoring, and Fit for Life cooking demo and masquerade ball. Get more details in Children's Library.
The September meeting was held in the Internet Lab, to give everyone some hands-on time on the blog. Steve walked us through the steps for posting and making comments. Four new Blogging Committee members got signed up to contribute. (Anyone can make comments, which will be reviewed before posting to the blog, but to create a post you need to get an e-mail invitation to contribute. Send a message to dplteens@gmail.com.)
